María Teresa is a Salvadoran painter living in Miami. Her art was exhibited for the Central American independence day event at Framing Art Gallery. The culture of El Salvador is reflected in Maria Teresa’s work through her focus on themes such as Indian women, indigenous children of El Salvador, and fruits that are native to her country. She believes that everything she does is related to and reflects El Salvador.
